Hello, again. I think Patrick has pointed the way for you. However, my setup as described does work. I keep the \TABLES file because other applications (ACP) require them, and I keep the files in the directories as I've outlined for the same reason. As I recall (some time ago I did this), I downloaded .gz compressed files, not .tar files, and I used BitZipper to unpack them. I would prefer to use the compressed files, too, that are allowed in CdC, but I could never (also) figure out just what "partial" decompression was needed. So I went for the fully uncompressed set.
