Actually finding out which Uni/Institution using Linux for which

LUGS wiki saying in Singapore , Linux is used in such and such
schools for such and such purposes. Since you are here , could you
confirm it? We could start with NUS usage of Linux and work our way
to other schools.
That's a great idea; I'd just like to point out that the LinuxNUS
group already has a very pretty site [1] and an easy-to-use wiki [2].
If you're going to collect that kind of information, it'd probably be
interesting to put NUS-related information into their own wiki and
link to it from lugs.org.sg.
I'm really interested in doing something like this for the Singapore
Perl Mongers (figuring out which Singaporean companies are using Perl
and for what), but I won't be able to start that until July. Has there
ever been a similar survey of companies using Linux in Singapore?
Maybe if we can get out the message that learning Linux can lead to
good job opportunities in Singapore, we can get more people interested
in learning about or studying Linux, as is being discussed upthread.
cheers,
Gaurav
