have they been left in the sun? DVD are more fragile than you might think (there was some research a few years ago that hit the press) and sunlight's a good way to mess them up. did you try writing at a slower speed? the other thing is to make sure nothing else is happening on the computer. how many do yu have left? are they under guarantee?
