I don't think I made myself clear.
I keep all my images on a network hard disk so that the Pcs' and the
mackingtoshs' can view them at will.
I had not loaded any software from my camera into the macbook so I used to
unload the camera into iPhoto and transfer them to the network HD.
I dislike the way iPhoto organises the images and it will not do it myway(
which I have using and controlling image files into directors since 1952 I
see no reason why I should Change).
It looks as if I shall have to use my macbook with iPhoto 08.
