here is my perspectice:..no matter what happenes with softimage in the future, i will continue using it for as long as it can be started...
i've yet to come across something as zen-like and fast as the modelling workflow in xsi - somewhat amazing if you consider that the modelling tools in xsi haven't changed that much in the past 10 years..
