Oh wait I just read properly that it's ZBrush that's crashing...huh. Usually if you wait long enough it will export fine even though it looks like it has hanged (make sure in prefs > RAM you've set the compact Mem to max 4096 and lower your tool histories to 0 if necessary) , but if there's something wrong or something with export specifically could you split up your subtools any further (make polygroups and split them or something and export them as seperate objs, then import them whereever separately to bake them? Even though they're split they should bake fine.

That's what I would do....or just export one subd level lower :P

Anyone have good idea how to get really high poly obj from zbrush, like 10.000.000 polys to Softimage? Exporting to obj get zbrush crashed on 32gb ram comp. Decimating or any other stuff in zbrush gives all kind of weird polygons once imported to SI. Or at least good point how to get proper normal maps.. we are close getting them but always something gets messed up. Any point to guide or something or tips would be great. Thanks
