It's interesting that a number of very tricky areas of 3d, like rock solid booleans or muscle simulation, infinite oceans etc have been addressed all at the same time. Has this happened as a result of throwing a load more resources at the problem? It was mentioned 3 or 4 times that things started to gain momentum about 18 months to 2 years ago. Not a coincidence there then.
