Reminds me of a employee here having all kinds of problems with his AOL/Verizon Adsl line. Constantly rebooting the router, blinking lights etc. etc. Had the Verizon techs out to his house. Went on for months (he kept complaining to me for months too ;)
Finally I suggested unplugging every phone in the house... drum roll..... You know it...... Worked flawlessly and has been for 2 months now. Narrowed it down to a bad phone. Chris >Now I did have someone good on the Phone with Verizon today and I have a >new DSL Modem coming my way. The data light blinks and it should be >solid, they say the line is good and not to worry about it. I told him >the blinking means something to someone, and to me from the book it means >a problem. They say the line is ok, I go ok, so there is a problem is >the modem, it is still under warrantee so replace it. Should have a >replacement here in a few days. Then we can see if the problem is >either the line or the modem then. ( if I still have the blinking lights >then ). Most people would have said ok it blinks so what, it works so >what. Well I see it as a sign, someone would not have programmed it to >blink if there was not a good reason. idiot lights how fun. --- [This E-mail scanned for viruses by Declude/F-Prot Virus] =================================================================================================== To unsubscribe, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] In the body of the email put the following: unsubscribe sonicwall your_name The archive of this list is at http://www.mail-archive.com/sonicwall%40peake.com/
