>Garibaldi rested, silently for a while.
His strength slowly returning, despite the kidney problem. Nurses cleaned
him up a bit, wiping his arms and face with a wet cloth, and gave him a couple
of hyposprays to make him comfortable.
>Eventually he started to move a bit, grogy and
lacking fine motor control. He was starting to regain consciousness, but
the pain killers and sedatives were not completely out of his system. Soon
he would be awake and able to communicate...
"Let's secure him while he's regaining
consciousness, shall we?" Serana said, "The last thing I want is for him to fall
off the bed while he's trying to wake up."
The nurses obliged, while Serana checked on his
vitals. All seemed okay. "I swear, Garibaldi," she muttered, "You're
more of a pain than Lasiter EVER was."
