>"As for Admiral Lasiter, he's fine, from what
I've learned in the past few hours. He finished his son's funeral service
without any further disruption. And the reason I'm here instead of Dr.
Brennan is because he was also hit in the chaos at the funeral. He's in a
healing trance right now; he should be coming out of it in a few hours and he
can take over your care."
>"I'm happy to hear that he's ok. Knowing
him like I do, I predict that things will be getting a bit dicey around
here. Anything else happen?", Garibaldi said obviously happy to hear that
his old friend was doing well.
"Well," she continued, checking his nutrient
levels, "I'm not sure how much I should tell you what's been going on. I
don't need you getting all worked up about things you can't do anything
about. But, there was an emergency here on Spacedock... normal Spacedock
chaos, I imagine. I don't know that much about it, because I was in
surgery myself for most of it. It's
got Security worked up into a bunch, but the nurses say they've got everything
in hand."
(response)
"I want you to get some rest, Garibaldi,"
Serana told him bluntly, "You've had enough excitement for one day, I
think. Oh, incidentally, you might want to thank Lucas Ryan next time you
see him. He's saved your life twice in 12 hours, now. He was
first on the scene when you got shot, and stabilized you enough to get you here,
and then he brought you out of that heart attack a few hours ago. The kid
thinks he's not qualified for field duty, but he's got better instincts than 90%
of those medical graduates out there."
