"Sir, the Council did not set a departure time," Bedru interjected.  "This would
allow the opportunity to verify the information and to prepare an appropriate
escort."  She did not voice her own concerns about the council's plans, and she
was very careful not to state that waiting for verification had had anything to
do with the lack of a departure schedule.
