>"I am not sure that would be our best option at this point.  It might be better to hear what he can help us >out with, informationwise before we make any decisions about the future."

>"If we determine he truly is in danger, I can authorize it sir as it would be affecting a current investigation."

>Jared agreed.  "Sounds like it is an option we can hold on to if we need it."  He turned back to face the >Colonel.

>David sat back in a chair, "Ok Colonel, if I may, what do you know of regarding my previous...visit?"

>"Well, I know all about your capture and being freed, but I am not sure what happened when you returned >to Van Der Loo's station.  You were in pretty bad shape when we found you and helped you get out of the >prison you were being held in."  The Colonel had to wonder if he was so injured that he had forgotten that it >was Stark that had freed him.

David winced slightly, but visibly at the thought but shook it off and maintained his focus. "I am appreciative to you Colonel. I believe I owe you...my life." He looked square at him man-to-man for a moment before clearing his voice and continuing, "At that time you said you had further information for me about Van Der Loo's control of the area and his possible involvement with the rebel forces?"
