It seems that we should provide tar.gz (see Original Message on bottom for Dennis reasoning). I disagree, but I'm not the one who do the review.

Dennis, can you provide us some tool for building tar.gz from our revision control? I suggest you to start with "make git-archive-to-tar-gz" target, which do the tar, but name it with current revision.

Additionaly - can we have some web space where we can put the tar.gz files? And if we can have nightly build somewhere too, it would be cool.
