I'm with Greg. I did an FM insured mall and the corridor/atrium
density was the same as the rest of the mall.

What about all of the Kiosk's in the center of every mall I have been in in
the last 10 years or so. I so it is OH2 because it is indeed still
mercantile from that regard and also all of the cars, and Antique sales,
etc, etc that are in there almost continually. I do not see Light Hazard
working.

Subject: RE: Mall Corridor
I would be in favor of at least OH I , but would fall back on the mall
owners and tenant use of the area? Is it just assembly, or are tenants
allowed "Sidewalk" sales with merchandise and sales display in that
"Corridor" If your describing an exit corridor, with all appropriate fire
ratings, I would agree it's light hazard, since no other use may be made of
it. But the "Main Concourse" just as at airports has a life of its own,
secondary to the main purpose of giving passengers/shoppers access to the
stores and planes.

Would the cooridor of a shopping mall be considered a light occupancy?
