I have seen corridors being used for "temporary" overnight delivery and
storage areas with 10' not uncommon, just go after hours or before
opening. "Main concourse" is the area for a plastic Christmas tree with
all the decorations, the highest I have seen was about 50', an expanded
polyurethane mountain with fake snow cover, built-in rail-tracks, various
electrical and electronic gadgets, "Santa Workshop" adjoining a sleigh and
polystyrene reindeers, or in Easter time mountains covered with rabbits
and large eggs (yep all expanded plastic of course), you name it. Of
course all these are "temporary" per management/architect/owners
Light Hazard would not fit to my understanding for either.

RE: Mall Corridor

I would be in favor of at least OH I , but would fall back on the mall
owners and tenant use of the area? Is it just assembly, or are tenants
allowed "Sidewalk" sales with merchandise and sales display in that
"Corridor" If your describing an exit corridor, with all appropriate fire
ratings, I would agree it's light hazard, since no other use may be made
of
it. But the "Main Concourse" just as at airports has a life of its own,
secondary to the main purpose of giving passengers/shoppers access to the
stores and planes.

Subject: Mall Cooridor

Would the cooridor of a shopping mall be considered a light occupancy?
