Bullseye!!!!  If insanity prevailed and it was shoved into NFPA 25, the real 
outcome would be an INCREASE in sprinkler failures due to more mechanical 
failures.  IN other words, the huge increase in cost would drive even more 
owners to doing NOTHING or buy the infamous curb check service.

This is already covered by the codes and as a code enforcement issue IMHO is a 
waste of time for NFPA to be having a multiple TC meeting on it.  I can already 
hear the wailing and gnashing of teeth.
