One question that springs to mind. What does the LMS iTunes plugin setting 'Extract iTunes Artwork' do? I'm aware that a LMS scan
iTunes doesn't store the artwork it downloads in your files, but somewhere in iTunes' own database. And there's no API to extract those images easily. Andy therefore created some script at some point which would automate iTunes to return the image. But it's prone to errors, requires iTunes to be run, and hasn't been maintained for years. Don't use it.
