Can anyone advise on the sort of tools to use to get
into awkward corners? I have carved an incurled leaf
shape (a bit like a bowl with overhanging sides..) I
have a couple of rifflers that cope with the longer
edges well enough, but tend to dig in at the 'corners'
where the long axis of the leaf turns to meet the
shorter axis (is any of this making sense I wonder!).
I thought I might get a tungsten carbide gritted bur and
set it on a handle to use as a rubbing tool. I also
wondered if there are any flexible grinding/polishing
fabrics that might work to get in to awkward places.
Any ideas gratefully received.
Forgive me if this has been covered before - I did trawl
through the archives but drew a blank..
