I was reading a brochure from Minnesota Cacuses ( Governor's office). It stated a question about those with disabilities." What if I'm disabled?". Good question. But a god-awful answer. It stated most building are access freindly. Those who are blind may request the material be converted to large print or braillie. Those who are in wheelchair can pretty much assume the buidling is accessible. BUT....

for those who are Deaf and do need to have an interpeter, you MUST SUBMIT A CERFIFIED MAIL AT LEAST 30 DAYS IN ADVANCE! How unfreindly is that? Why are we beign except from the rest of population to have the accessibtily to politic matter except to do it in a very formal way to obtain an interpeter? Why not say " Interpreter may be obtain in two days in advance? " Why not have the government hire an interpreter to stand inat least 2 days in advance? Certified mail is a way to avoid the pointing finger " Hey she didn t tell me ! ". Oh come on, knock it off. Im not really happy about it. It s hard enough for me to coax Deaf people to particpate in politic matter all the while they claimed which is true ' Those in politic aren't thinking about accessibitily for the Deaf".

Im not really happy about it. And I'm set out on warpath , for a heaven's sake, to please just change it. It s not going to be off the hook until it change.
