Oh BOY! I happened to be present at the board meeting where Dr. Harvey's area superintendancy was approved. The justification above was literally taken to pieces during that meeting, and I am so very pleased to have the opportunity to ask the district to explain it's figures in print. This is another case of "Latino Outreach" financing. Specifically, I am stating that the 5 area superintendents added millions of dollars to the existing budget. The administrative positions that were replaced came no where near offsetting these costs. I'd love to have someone from the district post the numbers... and perhaps Ms. Yeager could post the minutes of the meeting where the gentlemen from the financial office gave his public presentation (I've forgotten his name, but it was not Lois) to the board?
