It's growing increasingly apparent to me that council member Thune likes to avoid controversy.
:-)
I don't expect to see much debate about this in our forum...... right?

"St. Paul restaurants and bars would become smoke-free under an ordinance to be introduced next week by St. Paul city council member Dave Thune."

ROFLMAO.
The same city that for a year told us that the stink from GSE was just complex sugars and the like and was stuff our bodies needed any way.
The same city that still to my knowledge has not retracted that statment publicly yet.
The same city that forces people to breathe all the chemicals from GSE, while they pusy foot around, not apealing judges descisions.
This same city is now conserend about secound hand smoke, in places that people choose to go to.
Today I did a little car repair. The weather man said wind 15-30 out of the SW. That sounded good to me. Got out side wind calm to variable 1 mph. I smelled the stink, my sinus started to swell shut, I started to cough for a minute, then I got into the garage the air was still fresh, open the big door started the car, repositioned it to do the maintenance. Was letting the car exhaust disapate when the wind shifted and I started to smell GSE again, I imeadeatly shut the big door. I'd rather breathe car exahust than GSE. But thats what the city is doing, is forcing me and my neighbors to breathe GSE, lied about the contents of stink, had to get thousands of signature to make them believe there was even a stink.
This same city wants me to belive it cares about the heath of anyybody in this city, when it probably cares more about the injuries on the twins roster because if they don't place well. it will be harder to tax the poor ethanol fume breathers, for a new statium.
I would belive any of the following before I believed that the city of St. Paul cares about what I or anybody else breathes.
1) CIA Reports: Terrorists stop learning to fly plans, and instead learn to build and operate ethanol plants, using GSE busines plan, and plant operating manul as text books.
2) LIEP unable to make enviormental measurments because of high volume demand for lemon aid stand permit requests.
3) To save money the St. Paul School system
drops history until the politicly correcet revisionists finish new text books.
civics is replaced by how to manipulate your public representives for fun and profit.
4) MN DOH starts ojt program repeat after me "there is no cause and effect". by the way is there a St. Paul DOH (dept. of health) ?
5) GSE proves to millitay that portable sound wepons are still a few years off in development.
