If anyone believes that banning smoking in St. Paul
won't kill business, ask a business owner in Duluth.
They were fed the same crap that we're hearing now and
are ready willing and able to prove otherwise.
The next step has to be, and will be to convince us
that this ban MUST be statewide because cities that
don't have Dave Thune to protect them are taking
business away from those that do.
It just aint faaaair <sob>!
What about bars that have loud music at night? Carlos
Santana did for my hearing back in '76 but I don't
want to be completely deaf, so I can't go to a lot of
clubs at night.
But just because I don't want my hearing damaged
doesn't mean that I shouldn't be able to trot my
pompus ass into any club that provides it today!
The owner says removing music from *his* business will
kill him? Too effin' bad! I wan't it *my* way.
Helllp Dave! Save us from the loud music toooo!
I don't smoke; I don't care if you do; and if a bar
owner wants to allow smoking in his\her *personal
property* that's fine with me; I can choose to go
there or not and so can everyone else.
