Hello,

This is, I belief, related to the new security feature which can be
turned off with utpolicy -D.
Or with the admin_gui -> Advanced -> System policy -> switch on
"direct session access allowed"
Sun Rays seem to work now as they should.
In Nevada 110 the Motif libraries were introduced for OpenSolaris, but
the should never have gone out of Nevada to the best of my knowledge, so
the RHA feature should "just work". Do you use a non-default locale? If
so, what is it please?
However I am still interested in a solution in which I can have
"direct session access allowed" switched off.
Any suggestions would be welcome.
This looks locale-related to me. Are you sure you have the locales fully
installed? I can't think of a reason why libpam, pam_unix, or
pam_smartcard (!?!) should be unable to locate their locale catalogs.
pam_smartcard is obsolete and should not be used at this point in time,
I believe. It only supported a couple of obscure cards/devices which
should no longer exist. Perhaps Mike Bender will comment.
I found some other information on:
http://wiki.sun-rays.org/index.php/SRSS_4.1_on_OpenSolaris_2008.11
Can anyone tell me more about:
Fix a bug in /opt/SUNWut/lib/utdtsession (6803899)
* Edit the file and replace "awk" with "nawk". It only occurs in
one place, on line 493.
Would this be relevant in my situation or is this only needed for
opensolaris?
I could not find the bug description.
This affected session deletion only (e.g. utsession -k), and only
affects systems on which the greeter being used is gdm instead of dtlogin.
