Hello,

I noticed the following errors in /var/opt/SUNWut/log/messages:

These are all red herrings. None of them should cause anything to fail.

The logging occurs deep inside a library routine that is failing, but that failure should cause no problem to the login GUI application other than that it has to fall back to the original English UI messages.

I'll try to get these messages changed from 'notice' to 'debug' priority in a future release. (Note that they are not logged as errors, even though the word 'Error' appears in the message.)

This means that there is no localized UI for your locale. I see in another mail that you use a dutch locale for which we have indeed no localization.

These message catalogs are needed even less for proper functioning of the Sun Ray login GUI.

This is, I belief, related to the new security feature which can be turned off with utpolicy -D. Or with the admin_gui -> Advanced -> System policy -> switch on "direct session access allowed"

They are logged by that feature. But they don't indicate a real problem. You'd see essentially the same messages when using NSCM. And you would see these same messages on the platforms that do work.

Sun Rays seem to work now as they should.
However I am still interested in a solution in which I can have "direct session access allowed" switched off.

There does appear to be a problem with the Sun Ray login GUI on your platform, but the information you gave us is not sufficient to see what it is.
