I filed it as P1 since it prevents you from accessing your system, just
because you selected an unusual locale. Very bad.
As I said in the CR, ideally we'll provide localization for all the
desktop locales so this can't happen, but if that's not possible at
minimum we should fall back on C locale (and in that case we need a
better long-term strategy, which I'm working on).

hi Bob,
i have a question about the sun ray related bug database. do you think
it will be possible to make the sun ray related bug entries accessible
to our group? maybe not the whole bug entry as it may contain sun
internal information but at least the bug id and the corresponding short
description.
if possible we can arrange a way to update this bug database
automatically and host it on the group web page.
