I never had USB (Kensington Turboball) problems until I installed the
Ultratek/66 card in Slot 1 and the Radeon 7000 card in Slot 2, and then
partitioned two different system volumes (9.1 and 8.6) on my new main 80GB
IBM ATA/IDE drive.

Suddenly, a few days ago, my USB mouse quit when I booted from 8.6, and
subsequently wouldn't work even when I booted from 9.1. The latter
reaccepted the mouse after I had unplugged/plugged it a few times, but 8.6
still won't recognize the USB device.

In fact, I'm now getting the following weird message during 8.6 startup:

**The USB device "Unknown Device" cannot operate because it needs more power
than is available.**

What on earth is going on?
