Any suggestions on how to remedy this?

xlr8 carrier card and g3 processor was working fine until my recent
hard drive problems (s900). Then I couldn't load the control panels
or extension as it would give a bus error and crash the computer. I
ran it with out the panels/extensions.
I decided to "re-install it". took out card zapped cuda chip reset,
put back in but now it is not recognized. The green light on the
carrier card fires up, but that's as far as it gets. No activation of
the monitors etc.....and there fore no happy face etc...

I put the old 604 processor back in and it all worked fine.

Tried again with then xlr8 card after cuda reset. Still no recognition.

Checked seating many times...checked ram all ok...etc.

I supposed I could just keep trying to reseat it, but it seems a long shot.

anyone with suggestions on this please post.

It seems like something funny is going on with the bus. The main
scsi drive works on bus0 id 1 but the second drive is now not being
seen at bus 0 id4. all cd roms are seen. Seems weird.

any help is welcome.

respectfully,
tim
