I don't own one, and lord knows there are a few different DVD recordable standards out there, but for data archival I understand they're pretty darned slow. I think CDr's would likely be better. That's not advice, just hearsay. Yet I've always wanted one. Go figure. I guess I always thought having much of one's favorite music on one or two disks would be very cool.
