Conflict Catcher, as near a must-have utility as there is, shows the load
order of inits, and by watching the last extensions dance onto the screen
you should be able to pinpoint one of a few that load near the moment of
failure. Then, create a startup set in Conflict Catcher without the
suspected inits to see how far the startup gets.

I should mention that Conflict Catcher has a built-in conflict test, thus
it's name, that may immediately tell you which init is failing. It's not
always failsafe, in my experience.

I think you can operate Conflict Catcher in a demo mode for a given amount
of time (30 days perhaps), so you needn't own it to try it.
