Before going down the Conflict Catcher route I tried moving all Extensions out of Extensions folder and all Control Panels and restarting.
No icons appeared in start up sequence but as it switched to desktop with menu bar written along top the screen started its flashing. What I don't understand is this: What is the difference between starting with no extensions/control panels and starting with shift key pressed down? Would Conflict Catcher help in this situation? Any help appreciated... >on 7/14/02 4:02 PM, Tim Fenton at [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > >> Does anyone have any ideas about this? > >Conflict Catcher, as near a must-have utility as there is, shows the load >order of inits, and by watching the last extensions dance onto the screen >you should be able to pinpoint one of a few that load near the moment of >failure.
