Well, I dunno Sybil. Using the shift key turns extensions off, yet they all still reside in their appropriate folders even after restarting with the shift key held down . Taking them out manually seems drastic, as there are still resources that are required just for a mac to successfully boot. I've never actually removed the inits from their folders to see what would happen. Methinks that this fellow's problem goes beyond software altogether. I just wish he could drop off his S900 so I could muck about and come to some unprofessional opinion. I have a couple of video cards that might help answer one burning question at least. I hate to see a problem persist, and I feel some sort of kinship with my fellow Supermac users. Email has it's deficiencies in describing symptoms no doubt. Yet I love reviving Macs from time to time, when they're physically present especially. Having said all that, there's no doubt we can collectively get Tim's S900 back to the smiley face.
