It's probably best to get rid of it Pax. I've taken hoods off to adjust
convergence, but it's a scary place for me even with the appropriate plastic
tools. Even unplugged, CRT's have enough stored energy to be extremely
dangerous for the untrained. It's probably a good thing that CRT's are
slowly going the way of the dinosaur.
