Hi Bob,

Getting the various control panels set up can be confusing.  You will 
need to configure more than just the AppleTalk one.

You might want to do a little reading on Apple's web site.  Click on the 
"Support" section, of Apple's main web page, then go to the "Knowledge 
Base" section.  I spotted several things you might want to read when I 
entered "Ethernet Cable Modem OS 8.5"
