Thanks for the tip on Apple Support but I can't seem to find anything there.   Are 
there any control panels other than AppleTalk and TCP/IP to start with?  I can't get 
them to show me ethernet at all.  Now that I think of it, my system profiler tells me 
there's a card in slot, but it doesn't tell me its type is "ethernet."  Can that mean 
the computer doesn't recognize the card's function so can't pass it along to the 
driver?
