Warning! I never seem to be able to leave well enough alone. I tried 
this tip of turning off the Auto-boot in XPFacto with my UMAX 
J700/S900. I ended up with the "Black Screen of Death" I'd hate to know 
how many times I've had to take this thing apart,unplug remove the 
battery etc...oh well someone had to try it ;-)
Clearly the OpenFirmware is different in the C500/600 and the 
J700/S900. So this tip is for the C500/600 or maybe you want to try it 
and let us know if it works for you ;-)
