Rus,

Keith Pendlebury here in BC. I am running 8.6 on a c500 200 mz with
USB and zip, 1.9 Gig HD and Epson 740 and it runs beautifully. I am
a complete zero in any kind of tech stuffso other than telling you
all the upgrades went smoothly, I can't add anything.

I have had the system set up for about 2 years. I upgraded to 8.1
from the original system which I think was 7.5.

So Far as I recall I ran 8.1 for a while and after a few months went
to 8.5 and then found the upgrade to 8.6. Only problems I has was
downloading the whoile upgrade to 8.6.

The only problem I had was with the Appearance after I downloaded
Qicktime 5. I couldn't get the deskjtop picture I wanted to come up.
All I got was a in the preview was a soli pink pattern the same size
as the picture I wanted. I found out from somebody else that the
problem was caused by the Quicktime extension inside the preferences
file. As soon as I deleted that, I could select my desired Desktop
Pictures again.
