I tried using the system CD to boot, but the computer won't boot from it.
The light on the drive goes on briefly, it spins up, then spins down and
the drive starts trying to go. All the while, the old happy mac in black
and white is on the screen. Then the drive goes crazy, and I turn it off.

My system CD is the original Umax system disc.
