I HAD one back in the day, but as I mentioned, it was lost when I traveled
extensively. I'll ask the list once I get running again - my main concern
is recovering the stuff on the old HD - I've had several HD failures on
this machine and I've always been able to recover all data from them, for
some reason. They all failed to boot, but once I had a new system drive
set up, they always have come up, and given me my data back.

Yes, I understand that. I"ll ask some relevant questions regarding hard
drives and systems as necessary, once I see what's going on with the J700
repair.
