Just to add a bit of twist to this mix, for some reason I never had to use
the adapter and have always used the VGA port on the Twin Turbo (4 mb) and
Ultimate Rez (8mb), both non-Apple ROM'd, on the S900.
Started out new with the s900 and a SONY Multiscan 19" on the Twin Turbo and
then on the Ultimate Rez.
This is from OS 8 up to 9.1 and the occasional updates to the card drivers.

I do have two adapters, one a Griffin with two rows of switches and another
with no switches. Sortof ended up with them over the years.
