I have a the 8Mb card, and I was always having to fix the sync-on-green in the control panel after booting. Since I was installing OS X, as well as updating to 9.2.2, and installing several apps, this meant a lot of rebooting was going on.
When I read about the jumper settings (J4, I think) controlling the sync-on-green function, I took the card and went looking for the jumper. Unfortunately, my card (as well as most others, apparently) didn't have the jumper pins installed at the factory. So, being kind of a hardware hacker, I decided to add the pins, install a jumper, and see what happens. Viola!, now I have no more issues with sync-on-green, and I am able to use this old Twin Turbo in OS X without any issues. Soldering a 3-pin jumper block onto the card wasn't that difficult, and has given this card some additional life for now. -Barrey Will S wrote on 2/5/2004, 2:07 AM: >Someone asked about the jumper pins. > Only a few cards have these.
