So I'm hoping somebody here has been using an HP SCSI Scanner under OSX, or
know how. Right now its not even seen in the ASP. I have no scanner

Anybody?

It is possible that hp didn't and wont create drivers for OSX and SCSI scanners. I have a similar problem with a pro level Agfa Duoscan. The only way I can use it is to start up in 9 or connect it to another S900 always running OS9 for that purpose. Since very few computers come with SCSI ports anymore, the mfrs, who have been making scanners that connect thru USB and so forth, wont even bother. I have a SCSI to USB cable which I might get to work if I purchase a gender bender-necessary by the set up on my scanner--this cable worked when I took a SCSI 4 gig drive placed in a MicroNet DataDock and connected it to a USB port on my grand daughters iMac to transfer some large files. I would then have to hope that the USB drivers now supplied by Agfa would see the scanner connected that way. It's a hard road. I wish you luck.
