Hi Dave, Been reading the comments on your HP, I had similar problems with an Epson
2100S, Vuescan and Silverfast being the only alternatives for use in Jaguar I read
somewhere that if you re-load the Jaguar update "on top of" the Vuescan install
it works. I saw a simular problem with Vuescan not "displaying" properly, pop up
menus and such. I ended up purchasing an "USB to SCSI" adapter from Microtech which
also helped, but I still was not able to use Epson's "Native" USB driver with the
SCSI unit. ended up selling the 1200S for a 1200U (USB) I have a friend with an
HP 6100 and the "software" that HP gives you is I must say "poorly written". One
question... Do you have it connected to the external "onboard SCSI 25 pin" Sorry
and what version of Jaguar? 10.2.8?
