Hi Phillip,

Yes I'm using 10.2.8 and connected to the onboard external scsi.  I may try
loading the upgrade again.  Did you hear if the scanner should be on during
the install?  

But I probably won't get to it today.  I need a break, so I'm going to take
my dog up to the snow for the remainder of the day and do a few hours of
crosscountry or regular hiking depending on snow depth.  Getting a late
start but its not too far.  If you guys don't see a post from me by
tomorrow, send out the rescue party.
