Paul, As I mentioned in an earlier post I was successful attaching my Epson 1200S
to an adaptec 2930
a SCSI II card in my S900 It had to have been slot"4" (top to bottom) at the time
and it booted 
successfully I don't recall what version of Jaguar or Xpostfacto involved. Phillip
