Hi Paul

I had posted this problem months ago and really didn't get much 
response. Perhaps it was bad timing. The weirdest part of this is that 
that the internal bus has the original 2GB drive attached and 
externally I have a cd burner and the scanner and a Micronet DataDock 
Express with a 4 GB drive inserted. The cd burner and the DataDock are 
seen and the internal drive and the scanner are not, The things that 
are seen function perfectly without any quirks. The unseen are 
unreachable. For a while, I was running OS 10.2.6 from the DataDock and 
still use it for maintenance on the internal ATA 80 GB running Panther.
