I fired off that last message without thoroughly reading your post. At the bottom of the listing for TT 4.0.2 it says it is for MacOS 8 and 8.1. I am using 8.6. Maybe that is the trouble. I know that I have used a TT card under 8.6 in my old Starmax. It was a different card but I think very similar. Still seems like it might be hardware to me.

OWC has the last of the Twin Turbo free for downloading. I believe it's 4.0.6 ? Anyway, it worked fine all the way up to OS 9.1.
