This is just a guess and easy enough to check.
Is the PRAM battery in good condition ?
Remove and reinsert the TT card a couple of times to make sure it is in full contact with the PCI slot.
4.0.6 should work fine through most iterations of 8.0 and 9.1.
Is there another PCI card in the C500 ? If so, maybe there is a conflict ?
I think the Twin Turbo models are far less troublesome in our Supermacs then the Ultimate Rez.
