I have been trying to get a TT video card to work on my C600. I have
tried one that has a rom labled: Twin Turbo 128M8, Revision 3.6. It
seems to work ok but gives a line across the screen horizontally
spaced about 1/4 inch apart on my 13 inch screen. The lines persist
at the same spacing no matter what resolution I use. I suspect a bad
 memory address on the card.

Alan's suggestion to try the TT software is definitely worth a try, but this does sound like bad VRAM to me, too. That's unfortunate, as the 8MB version of the card was decent in its day.

The last time I looked closely at a TT card, it appeared to have the same VRAM chips on board as the 1 MB VRAM modules for the 7200, 7x00 and 8x00 machines--unless I'm confusing the TT with the Ult. Rez. It's been a while since I looked closely at either one.

Anyway, for an intrepid solderer, it might be possible to replace the VRAM chips (salvaging them from 1 MB 7200 modules) until the card works properly again. It wouldn't be worth it though, unless the TT 8M just isn't available in the used market.
