No. That version of the software only works on System 7.5.3. I couldn't make it work
on my Mac with OS 8.6, so I went into research mode and discovered that.

Hmmm....I have been using 4.0.6, which is the last of the updates, all the way through 9.1.
I'm thinking I started using that version somewhere along when I was on either 8.5 or 8.6.
Isn't 4.0.6 what's available for download from OWC ?
It COULD be that the source I got it from was mistaken as to version. My download
was a very plain-looking icon as though it were System 6-like. Using a TT 128MA
I couldn't get it recognized by the Control Panel in my 9500 with OS 8.6.
