I have a 15.5 pb/G4 Ti-book and the screen is absolutely beautiful with good white and black. I've been doing some photo-restoration on it and the printed results are pro.
LCD screens will dim gradually over time, so it's not apparent until a newer screen is next to it.
Same thing with plasma screens - after two years it evidently is noticeable - as someone recently told me.
Does anyone know if there is such a thing as DVI to VGA connectors?
I'm guessing a LCD monitor with DVI to connect to.....VGA, which is the other way around from my setup - a VGA cabled monitor connected to a DVI video card...
I'll have to look around out of curiosity.
At least you're not having to deal with transitioning between ADC and other connections, which can be costly.
With color correction I don't really need the accuracy that a lot of $$$ partially buys, because I do the cc by the numbers.
Now I call that doing it the master's way.
About as far as I've gotten is to restrict the whites and blacks within a certain parameter.
Other then that, I need a WYSIWYG workflow.
